Nordica has built up a strong reputation as a rentals specialist, but it is also very much a real estate company involved in sales, and has been so, right from the beginning. Where rentals are very much Anna Lena’s department, sales are headed up by Peter, ensuring that this is a family-run business in the true sense of the word.
A vital role within the sales department is played by Susanne Mairena Eriksson, an experienced real estate professional who has pretty much had a lifelong love affair with Marbella. “I first came here from Sweden when I was just ten months old,” says Susanne, whose parents were to visit Marbella twice a year for years to come before buying a property here. “By the time I was a teenager I knew the area inside out, and when a friend and I came to stay at my parents’ place for an extended holiday that turned into a much longer stay.” Continue reading »

Finding a cause to support nowadays can be quite difficult as unfortunately we have a great deal of choice but luckily enough there are people who care giving you such a wide range of charities to choose from. Having said, that when it comes to a cause that involves someone you know, the choice is easily made. As many of you know who live in Marbella, Russell Soden has a quest to trek up the mountain La Concha 40 times in 40 days for the 40th anniversary in support of the Foundation Study of Infant Death (F.S.I.D.) so us girlies at Nordica have decided to put our walking/climbing shoes on instead of our heels and join Russell Soden in his amazing quest on Saturday the 8th of October, where we will all attempt to make it up to the top of La Concha – I am sure that this will be a sight for sore eyes but at least our hearts will be in it if not our limbs! Long a favourite destination of Mediterranean cruise ships, it doesn’t take long to understand why, every week, thousands of tourists descend to enjoy all that the city of Málaga has to offer.

Following the opening of the new terminal, known to frequent fliers as T3, it has been announced that Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport will soon benefit from the addition of a second runway.
This will enable the Costa del Sol to welcome even more visitors from all over Europe and beyond. It has been estimated that T3 has already resulted in a doubling of capacity, as well as presenting new arrivals with a very stylish first impression.
New figures, published by AENA reveal that, since November 2010, 9.5 million passengers have passed through the terminal after touching down on a total of 80,000 flights. Continue reading »
